2009 York Hospital Running Series

As a community-based, not-for-profit organization, York Hospital/WellSpan Health is dedicated to improving the health and well being of the residents of York and Adams counties. Everyday, we strive to promote healthy lifestyles and life-long wellness. Regular physical exercise plays a critical role in a healthy lifestyle and provides benefits that cannot be obtained in any other way.

The York Hospital Running Series provides a great opportunity for both new and experienced runners to participate in a multi-race program that promotes physical exercise through spirited competition. The Series includes the following races: York Habitat for Humanity 5K, Double Creek Half Marathon and 5K, East Berlin 5K, the Quarterback Club 5K, Shelley Miaki Memorial 5K, York 10-Miler and York White Rose. Each race features its own designated beneficiary. All participants, in both the adult and youth category, who complete six of the seven races will be entered into a prize drawing. In addition, there will be awards for the top male and female finishers in thirteen age groups for the feature races if the qualifications for prizes are met.

Whether you are new to running or have been at it for years, the York Hospital Running Series is a great way to highlight your hard work and to raise money for various organizations across our community.
